Sara Lynch received her PhD from the University of Bern, Switzerland. She is an associated researcher at the Center for the Study of Language and Society (CSLS) at the University of Bern. Her current research interests are Discourse Analysis, Narrative Studies, World Englishes, Language Variation and Change, Micronesian Studies, and the themes of social inequality, and mobility. Her sponsoring SLS professor is Dr. Christina Higgins.

Tomomi Nishikawa

Tomomi Nishikawa (née Hasegawa) received her PhD in Second Language Acquisition from the University of  Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is an associate professor in the Department of Japanese as a Second Language Education, Ochanomizu University, Japan. Her current research interests include Critical Period Hypothesis, child second language acquisition, and heritage language acquisition. Her sponsoring professors are Dr. Bonnie D. Schwartz (SLS) and Dr. Kamil Deen (Linguistics).

Weiying Huang

Weiying Huang received her PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She is an associate professor in School of Foreign Languages, East China University of Technology, China. Her current research interests include second language pragmatics, language testing and classroom assessment. Her sponsoring SLS professor is Dr. Dongping Zheng.
