Valerie Meier

Before enrolling in the MA program at UH Manoa, Valerie taught reading and composition to students at San Francisco State, business writing to civil servants and NGO staff in Laos, and Jazz Chants to five year olds in Japan. She teaches reading courses in the English Language Institute and will serve as the Online lead teacher starting Spring 2012.

Her academic interests include EAP program development and evaluation, language testing, and the curricular implications of English as an international language. Her non-school interests include practicing yoga, cooking, and getting invited to dinner parties.
