Ken Jackson died May 5, 2013, in Honolulu. Ken joined the Department in August 1968, as an assistant professor. Before coming to Honolulu, Ken was a linguistic consultant to the Missionary Orientation Center, in New York, while he was on a sabbatical from Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan.
