Tom Carment is an Emeritus Professor of Accounting at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Prior to teaching he was employed by Ford Motor Company, Burroughs Corporation, and Conoco, Inc. Tom has entrepreneurial small business experience in wholesale/retail gasoline marketing and farming. Carment is professionally active as a writer and speaker. He has published refereed journal articles in The Journal of Accounting Case Research, The Pennsylvania Economic Journal, Journal of Government Financial Management, and Mid Atlantic Journal of Business. Tom is married to Deborah Carment, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Northeastern State University. They have three children and one grandchild. His interests include: travel, camping, hiking, biking and volunteer work in the community.
