Dr. Don Corbin received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and became the Emeritus professor of accounting after he retired. He has been recognized by the National Association of Accountants, Committee on Economic Development (CED), and the School of Accountancy of University of Hawaii for his valuable contributions to the accounting profession and education. He has written over five books and his articles are published in journals such as the Accounting Review (eight articles), Journal of Finance, the Journal of Political Economy, ABACUS, Management Accounting, the Journal of Accountancy, and the CPA journal.

Dr. Corbin is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, American Accounting Association, National Association of Accountants, and Hawaii Society of CPA’s.
