Business students can now study in the state-of-the-art technology center made possible by a joint venture between PricewaterhouseCoopers and the UH Shidler College of Business School of Accountancy. Unlike anywhere else on the UH campus, the PWC Center, in BusAd G301, is completely wireless and features leading-edge media equipment. The multi-functional room includes a plasma flat screen television, projector, laptop computers and flexible furniture which converts into a classroom or a working office.
Director of the UH School of Accountancy said, “This project is a model for collaboration between the University and the business community. PricewaterhouseCoopers has set the standard for innovative public-private partnerships, enabling the UH School of Accountancy graduates to effectively compete in the global marketing place.”
The PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Research Center was unveiled to the public in November. Starting Spring 2005, accounting students have access to the room.
