In order to attend the SPCL Summer ’03 conference, you can either register on-site when you arrive at the conference, or preregister by sending in the registration form (see below) and payment to the address on the form.
On-site registration will be available on the lanai outside the venue (the Imin Conference Center, formerly called Jefferson Hall) at the following times:

Wednesday, August 13 4.30 – 6.00 pm
Thursday, August 14 8.00 –10.30 am
Saturday, August 16 8.00 –10.30 am

At other times during the conference, registration will be available in the conference office in the Washington Room, on the upper level of the Imin Conference Center.

• Registration fees for the conference include:
• a reception on August 14
• a continental breakfast each day
• snacks and coffee, tea or juice during the break in each morning and afternoon session.
  (Note that there are only morning sessions on August 15 and 17.)
• All fees are in US dollars.
• If you are interested in attending only the “Creole Literature Day” on Saturday, August 16, you can also preregister.

• Because the semester will not have started yet, there won’t be any places close by open for lunch. But lunches with local food will be provided at the conference venue for a nominal fee.
• The field trip to Plantation Village and the North Shore will be on Friday afternoon, August 15. This costs $18, including a bento (boxed lunch).
• Finally, the conference dinner will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Resort on Saturday, August 16. This costs $25 for the full buffet, or $18 for the salad and dessert bars only.
