Originally established during the Fall 2001 semester, the Speech Communication Society is an organization created by students to form a network between majors, minors, the faculty, and the community in the interests of the communication field. Members pledge to fulfill the social, career/academic, and service needs of the speech community at the University of Hawai`i. Members of the Society will increase their visibility in relation to the Department of Speech, fellow peers, and the community. If you are interested in learning more about our organization, please feel free to email us at scs@hawaii.edu. We look forward to adding another builder to the team. Help us “Bridge the Gap.”
