Advising

Beginning Spring 2008, the Department of Speech offers a method whereby each of our majors is advised by one of our departmental professors.

All Speech majors are required to meet with a Speech adviser before they register for courses. To help them during their studies and assist them in anyway we can to make their studies in the Speech program as rewarding and smooth as possible, the Speech department assigns each Speech major a specific adviser - one with whom she/he will meet each semester prior to registering for the following semester.

The undergraduate chair will email each student with his/her adviser’s name, office room number, phone number, and email address. It will be up to each student to contact his/her adviser and set up a meeting time.
