The academic program for public health is located in the University of Hawai'i at Manoa's John A. Burns School of Medicine under the Office of Public Health Studies. In 2002, this program was accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for five years. As part of the reaccreditation process, the Office of Public Health Studies developed a self-study document that evaluates the program against the CEPH criteria. There will be a site visit March 19-20, 2007. The Self-Study Report below was submitted to CEPH as the basis for their review.
