Searching
MEDLINE database via OVID and PubMED search engine. This is the premier database from the National Library of Medicine which provides citations
to the health//medical research literature.
Includes a discussion of how you locate an article once you identify a relevant citation and the relationship of MEDLINE to other information sources.
Overview of Internet and Library Resources (60 minutes) MS OVERVIEW
Full-text journals, full-text
, textbooks; MD-Consult; seaching for other credible resources on the
internet. Includes Hamilton Voyager Catalog, full-text resources from Hawaii Medical Library and Hamilton.
Advanced MEDLINE Searching (60 minutes) MS ADVANCED
Designed for the experienced user. Will be tailored to the needs of the group. Will include more detailed discussion of MESH, techniques to make your retrieval more precise.
