Indicator: % of Supervisors Engaged in Management Development

Description:

Percentage of supervisors with management specific training. A manager must spend at least 8 hours during the year in management training in order to be counted.

Assumptions:

Total FTE (full-time equivalency) represents staff positions filled for at least six months during the fiscal year rather than total positions. Conference sessions that provide management development are included.

Indicator: % of Staff Engaged in Professional Development

Description:

Percentage of staff, including supervisors, with relevant training. Relevant training can include managerial, technical, customer service training, etc. as appropriate. A staff member must spend at least 8 hours during the year in relevant training in order to be counted. Note: management training for supervisors is reflected in this indicator as well as in the Management Development indicator.

Assumptions:

Total FTE (full-time equivalency) represents staff positions filled for at least six months during the fiscal year rather than total positions. Conference sessions that provide professional development are included.
