The Hawaii Coral
Reef Initiative is committed to educating all types
of audiences, through a wide range of mediums:
- Our publications include topical reports, posters, brochures and videos
to present information in a visually attractive manner.
- We reach out through events such as community activities to promote a better understanding
of our coral reefs.
- Reef Ranger, our website’s online
game, is a fun and interesting way for children
of all ages to learn through play.
- We created a K-3 standards based marine science curriculum to
educate young children on Hawaii’s near-shore
ocean environment.
- We provide a unique view of the program’s
research and events through our online blog and videos.
