What is asked for is frequently followed by a question (?) mark.
What is asked for is commonly preceded by such action words as find, show that, prove, and how.
Ignore the given material. The given material consists of numbers and words that are preceded by constraining words such as if, assume that, and it is given that.
Do not try to understand the problem. Simply scan the problem statement, ignoring every thing till you arrive at what is asked for.
Remember that starting a problem solution is by far the simplest part of solving a problem.
