Online Teaching and Learning Certification (TALENT101 Fall and Spring)

This online self-paced training course is designed to prepare faculty and staff to the world of online teaching and learning. TALENT101 Fall and Spring was specifically designed to provide experience with being an online learner in preparation for teaching an enhancment (some Internet component alongside face-to-face contact) or total web based course (complete Internet based with no face-to-face contact with students), as well as engage in meaningful pedagogical dsicussions regarding online teaching and learning.

The course also provides a student view of WebCT (Web Course Tools - a UH supported online course management tool) which can be applied to pedagogical and methodoligical issues related to developing and designing ones own online course.
