Post'Em is not part of the default set of tools. Click here for directions on adding tools.
Before using Post'Em, begin by setting up your spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must have headers along the top row and all of your students' UH usernames listed down the left column. This is how the tool will associate information to each student. Below is what the spreadsheet might look like:
*Note: A .csv file can be exported out of the Gradebook tool with the list of students/participants UH usernames. This can save time by not having to type in all the UH usernames, especially for large classes. To view a tutorial on this, click here.
Once you have entered all of the grades and/or comments into the spreadsheet, save it as a .csv file, which is a comma delimited file format. To do so, go to the "Save As" option when saving the file and and select "CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)."
Go into the Post'Em tool in Laulima and upload the .csv file to it by clicking on the "Add" link.
Enter a title for the .csv file that you are about to upload, then click the "Browse" button to select the file on your computer. If you want students to see the information as soon as it is uploaded, check the box for "Release feedback to participants?" Uncheck the box to release the information later. Click the "Post" button.
Click "Save" to verify the upload.
You should see the spreadsheet on the file list. Click "view" to display the spreadsheet information.
The students' usernames will appear in red, indicating that they have not viewed their feedback.
