NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

PROJECT: Information Technology Center, Project No. UH 06-546

CONTRACTOR: dck pacific construction, LLC

SCOPE OF WORK:
The project in general consists of construction of a six-story concrete, aluminum and glass building
of approximately 74,000 square feet, immediately east of Bilger Annex. The building will provide the
first centralized facility designed and built to house the information technology resources that
support the needs of all ten University campuses.

The project also includes site work, such as removal and relocation of existing landscaping,
demolition of existing paving, relocated and new underground utilities, new paving and new
landscaping. 

DURATION OF WORK:
Friday, January 27, 2012 - May, 2013.

DAYS AND HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES:
Access will be maintained around Bilger Addition, Bilger Hall, Physical Science Building, and Keller
Hall. 

ADVISORY:
The work will significantly affect pedestrian traffic around Bilger Addition, Bilger Hall, Physical
Science Building and Keller Hall. The Contractor will construct barricades and signs to protect and
redirect pedestrians. 

The construction zone will be protected by 12 foot high barricades, and will encompass the building
site and the Physical Science Building parking lot. Access gates to the construction zone will be
located at Correa Road. The service route to Physical Science Building and Keller Hall will be
redirected through the Kennedy Theatre parking lot.

Preliminary mobilization work will start Friday, January 27, with the construction of a temporary
service ramp for Keller Hall and Physical Science Building. 

An initial Mobilization Area at the back of the Physical Science Building parking lot will be fenced
off on Monday, January 30. Erection of barricades around the construction zone will begin later in
the week of January 30, and continue for approximately two weeks.

Additional notices will be issued as needed.

The project team appreciates your patience, understanding, and cooperation to help maintain a safe
environment during construction.
