TIP2008 AccommodationsTIP2008 room blocks are available two locations. Participants can choose to either stay at the Sheraton Waikiki along the world-famous Waikiki Beach (conference shuttle service provided) or the highly affordable Lincoln Hall at the East West Center Housing (walking distance to the conference site.) |

Block rate (for single/double occupancy):
Manor Wing: $110 USD/night
City/Mountain: $190 USD/night
Partial Ocean View: $210 USD/night
Ocean Front: $230 USD/night - call the hotel directly to book Ocean Front rooms
Each additional person in any room is an additional $65 USD/night.
All guest room rates are subject to applicable state, local and transient accommodation taxes at the time of check in.

Royal Hawaiian Hotel update:
Rooms have sold out at the Sheraton Waikiki for only the pre-meeting nights of 17-18 January 2008. However, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, adjacent to the Sheraton Waikiki, is offering our attendees a substantially discounted rate of $185.00 (historic garden view room) for 16-18 January 2008 (this rate is not available on any additional nights). A stay at the "Pink Palace of the Pacific" will afford TIP2008 attendees a chance to experience one of the classic luxury hotels in Waikiki that many people have never have the opportunity to enjoy.
If you require lodging for these pre-meeting dates, please contact the Sheraton Waikiki Reservations Center directly at (808) 921-4611 and the reservation assistants will help you in booking your extension nights at the Royal Hawaiian, as well as your Sheraton Waikiki dates, rooms for which are available from Saturday, 19 January through the duration of the meeting. Please reference the Joint Techs lodging block when making your reservation. Please contact meetingregistration@internet2.edu if you have any problems.

Reservation Policies:
***Please note: There is an early departure fee. If you check out prior to your reserved check out date, your account will be charged 50% of group rate for your room for one night. You can avoid this by notifying the hotel of any changes in your scheduled length of stay either before or at check in. Guests will be reminded of this policy at check in.
**Please note: A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold your reservation. This deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the dates indicated and, at check in, will be applied to the first or final night of your stay. This deposit is refundable if you give the hotel 72 hours notice prior to your arrival and you obtain a cancellation notice. All deposits will be charged at the time the reservation is made.
