AIRPORT SHUTTLE TO WAIKIKI
Approx. Adult fare: 8.00-$10.00 (one-way) / $15.00-$18.00 (round-trip).
Airport Waikiki Express (airport to any hotel in Waikiki)
Two (2) bags per person (no charge) plus one (1) carry-on
After claiming bags, walk to median area outside of baggage claim and look for the yellow "Airport Shuttle" signs for the pickup location or staff wearing yellow uniform reading, "Authorized Airport Waikiki Shuttle" for assistance.

APAN Fellows can print a copy of this map to give to the shuttle driver for driving directions to get from the Airport to Hale Manoa or Hale Kuahine dorms. For other attendees staying at Lincoln Hall, please instruct the driver to go to the next buidling beyond Hale Kuahine to reach Lincoln Hall.

Approximately $25.00-$28.00 one-way from the airport to Waikiki or East-West Center (UH) during non-rush hour period. Approximately $10.00-$12.00 one-way from Waikiki to East-West Center.

From Kuhio Avenue heading away from Diamond Head, board the 4 Nuuanu-Dowsett or 4 Nuuanu-Pauoa Road. This bus will take you directly to the University of Hawaii-Manoa campus on University Avenue.
University to Waikiki:

Board the 4 University-Waikiki bus on University Avenue below Metcalf Street.
Buses run about 15-20 minutes apart during the day on weekdays and less frequent in the evenings and on weekends.
Approximate one-way travel time is 25 minutes.

Board 19 or 20 Waikiki Beach and Hotels. First bus from the Airport to Waikiki is 4:52 a.m. on weekdays and 5:10 a.m. on weekends. The last bus leaving the Airport to Waikiki is 1:22 a.m. on weekdays and 12:18 a.m. on weekends.

On Kuhio Avenue, Saratoga Road or Kalia Road heading away from Diamond Head, board 19 Airport-Hickam or 20 Airport-Pearlridge.
Buses run about 20 minutes apart during the day, and 30 minutes apart in the evenings.
Approximate travel time is 1 hour 10 minutes.
Please note that traffic and finding parking on the University of Hawaii Manoa campus during morning rush hour can be difficult. It is highly recommended that meeting attendees use the TIP2008 shuttle service that will run between the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and the East West Center each morning and afternoon on the main conference days. The majority of the TIP 2008 meetings will be held in the Hawaii Imin International Conference Center also known as Jefferson Hall which is located at the East West Center on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus. Large meetings and plenary sessions will be held in the Keoni Auditorium. Smaller meetings and breakout sessions will be held on second floor or garden level. Meal and refreshment breaks will be on the garden level overlooking the Japanese Garden in back.
