Speak out and #BeHeardUH
It is the University’s responsibility to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can achieve academic success and personal growth. Unfortunately, the issue of sexual assault and gender-based violence is prevalent on college campuses nationwide. As you may know, the University of Hawaii has made significant progress towards addressing this critical problem, but we can do even more. UH is launching a climate survey to all UH campuses. The survey will ask about experiences with sexual harassment and gender-based violence. The survey is a confidential platform and an opportunity for UH students ages 18+ to share their perspectives.
To take the survey:
- Check your UH email on the Jan 20, 2017 launch date for the “UH Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Harassment and Gender-Based Violence”
- Set aside about 20 minutes to participate in the survey
- Submit the survey
You can also get involved in our survey roll out volunteer group and encourage others to participate. Check out the Get Involved page for more info!
