What is UBUD?

Our Unit Budget Monitoring (UBUD) is envisioned as a tool for financial managers that will eventually show allocations, revenue projections, expenditures and projected expenditures (payroll and other commitments) by organizational unit across all sources of funding. It will use the OrgMap capability to draw information from multiple information systems for user-centered views and to roll-up organizational units for management review.

How do Payroll Projections Work?

Payroll Projections is our first module in UBUD, scheduled for implementation in January 2007. Note that payroll projections and actual payroll costs, by organization, are highly dependent on current and correct data, taken from our Human Resources (peopleSoft), Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and Student, Casual, Overload Process (SCOPIS) datamarts.

Access to our Payroll Projections module is secured by UH username and password.
