Final Instructions for Presenters (March 2007)
General Information IntroductionPresenters are the key ingredient that make the EndUser conference a success. Your Program Planning Committee encourages you to submit a proposal for a speaker session or a poster session by using the submission form (below). A wide variety of presentations are needed, covering topics in the ten speaker session and poster session tracks and addressing the needs of all users, from beginners to experts. Speaker sessions in 2007 can be 60 minutes or 90 minutes in length, depending on the time needed by the speakers. Poster session talks are usually brief and are repeated several times during the poster session periods. You are strongly encouraged to provide handouts for your speaker or poster session. Handouts that adhere to the guidelines (below) and that are submitted by the deadline will be duplicated for you free of charge. Submit Your ProposalPlease read the Guidelines before completing the Proposal Submission Form: Complete the Proposal
Submission Form by these deadlines:
Proposal acceptance notification can be expected by December 15, 2006, for
speaker presentations and by February 28, 2007 for poster presentations. After Acceptance Once you have been notified of acceptance, there are various
deadlines with regard to the presenter agreement form, equipment requests,
handout files, and presentation files. Your track coordinator will alert you to
these deadlines and provide assistance with determining the number of
handouts, etc. Presenter Registration FeePresenters pay a substantially reduced registration fee. Speaker presenters: $145, Poster presenters: $250. The regular registration fee is $395. In addition, all presenters receive the unending gratitude of their colleagues! A maximum of three presenters per speaker session or one presenter per poster session will receive the speaker or poster presenter reduced registration rate. If you are both speaking and presenting a poster, the lower of the two registration rates will apply.
We look forward to hearing from you!If you have any questions, contact the appropriate Track Coordinator or the committee Chair. |
