The next Senate meeting is Wednesday January 23 at 3 PM in the Architecture Auditorium. Here is the agenda.

1. Approval of Minutes of Dec 5.

2. Chair's report

• a. Tenure-on-initial-appointment for both faculty and executive approved by BOR
• b. VC Ostrander's office is working on simplifying dossier requirements for tenure/promotion

3. SEC: Amendment to the Rules of Order (see attached -- deletions are indicated in red and strike-out, additions are in greed and underlined). Please note that according to the current Rules of Order, any amendments must be introduced in one Senate meeting and then debated and voted upon at the following meeting, which will be Feb 20 (passing requires a 2/3 vote).

4. VPAPP Linda Johnsrud will present "UH System Strategic Outcomes and Performance Measures".

5. FAR (Faculty Athletic Representative) Peter Nicholson will report on Athletics and introduce Interim Athletics Director Carl Clapp.
