November 28, 2007 UHM Faculty Congress Meeting:
hearing no requests for corrections or changes, the minutes were adopted.
David Hafner’s Address to the Congress:
David Hafner, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Campus Services presented a report
on the state of UH Manoa Facilities. The highlights of his presentation included
the priorities of Facilities Management in dealing with a backlog in repairs and
maintenance projects, prioritizing the ongoing requests for work from UHM campus
units, and evaluating future projects for this campus. His report included
details of energy use by this campus as well as comparisons to our peer
institutions. The information in his presentation may be found on the Facilities
