New Business:
- Ross Christensen, Chair of CAB, alerted the Senate of the appointment of a new Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for International Programs. The appointment resulted in the existing system International Education Office to be moved to UH Mänoa. The process of the devolution and reassignment was announced at a recent meeting of the International Program Directors. Concerns that no attempts to consult stakeholders or the faculty senate about this appointment were raised to VCAA Linda Johnsrud and Chancellor Hinshaw.
- VCAA Search: No report from the Chancellor has been received as of this date.
- Status of Assessment: The Manoa Office of Assessment has been established with a search being conducted for 2 faculty specialists and director.
Hearing no other requests for discussion of other topics, the meeting was
adjourned at 4:30p.
Respectfully submitted,
Lei
