Update on MFS votes on CoA and SLOs

Senators concerned that faculty presence not enough without faculty director of office, concerns over imposition of SLOs, CCs concerned that they will be used at time of faculty review
CAPP members encouraged to attend next Senate meeting
More perceived faculty involvement (fac director and senate committee) could possibly help with SLOs sentiments
Senate committee being put together to look at T&P procedures of the Specialists in the office of assessment

Proposal for Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship

Will be agenda item for next mtg.  Read with special attention to pages 3-5

Shared Governance

Concerns raised over how decisions are made on campus, e.g., management hires, A&S reorganization.  Processes may not follow BoR/campus policy.  Requests made for discussions within MFS initiated by standing committee.
Discussion should start with BoR definitions of processes of shared governance and policies for hiring and reorganizing.
Susan to draft resolution.
