The UH Manoa Office of Facilities and Grounds will be conducting a Facilities Management Evaluation Program (FMEP) review during the upcoming week of October 23 from Monday October 24 through Thursday October 27. This is a formal external review performed by a panel of experts assembled by the Association of Physical Plant Administrators for Higher Education (APPA). In the course of this review members of the APPA evaluation team will meet with campus leaders to gain their feedback of the performance of the Office of Facilities and Grounds.
To assist us in the process I would like to ask your assistance in making approximately one hour of your time available to attend a small group meeting on campus with one of the two APPA review teams. As it is currently planned we would like to schedule during the period of Monday October 24 through Wednesday 26.
In addition, if you would like to suggest other members of your departments (faculty, faculty chairs, staff, and students) that you would like the APPA team to meet please let us know and we will attempt to arrange a time at one of the larger feedback sessions.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request. Either my Department Secretary or I will be contacting your offices to work out a schedule.
