Operating Budget
In Fall 2011, the Senate's operating budget was used to pay for salary and recurring costs, most notably the printer and phone bill. In Spring 2012, $66 was spent on office supplies and $1,324 was spent on computer supplies that will be used by a research assistant. The remainder of the funds will be used to compensate a research assistant who will work on projects assigned by the committees. Senate Reception
Chancellor Hinshaw will host a reception for current senators on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 4 pm at College Hill, in recognition and appreciation of service by our faculty in the Senate. It is also a great opportunity for Senators to gather with each other and administration. Please hold the date/time of the reception – more details are forthcoming.

Research Assistant
The SEC is in the process of hiring a research assistant who will work exclusively on projects assigned by the Senate committees.

Reserve Equipment
All of the Senate's equipment - including 100 I-Clickers, a Polycom conference phone, and a projector - are available for faculty to reserve using our online reservation system. A big mahalo to Bonnyjean Manani, SEC Vice Chair, who used her SEC relief funds to purchase the I-Clickers for the Senate!
