 Three students reported an unprovoked attack and assault by five unknown suspects while walking through Kanewai Park on Dole Street during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 16.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After the incident, one of the victims reported a missing wallet.  The three students were unable to provide a description of the suspects to Campus Security and HPD.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Campus Security strongly recommends that students avoid walking through or going to Kanewai Park after dark.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have information about this incident, please call Campus Security at 956-6911 or HPD at 911.

 At 12:09 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, a female graduate student reported being forcibly robbed of her backpack in the parking lot of the Newman Center near East-West Road.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She said she was approached by a man who asked for the time and then grabbed the strap of her backpack and wrested it away from her. He was last seen running towards Moore Hall. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;HPD responded and is investigating. The description of the suspect is as follows:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;African-American in his early 20&apos;s;&lt;br /&gt;6 feet, 140 pounds with black hair;&lt;br /&gt;White short-sleeve T-shirt, gray pants, and running shoes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have any information on this case, please call HPD at 911 or Campus Security at 956-6911.

 A student living in Hale Wainani on the UH Manoa campus reported today that she had been sexually assaulted during the night in her residence hall room by a man that she initially met on the Internet. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The suspect has been identified and is believed NOT to be a UH Manoa student.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Honolulu Police Department is investigating and following up on leads.

 A female student reported to HPD and Campus Security that she had been the victim of a sexual assault at Hale Noelani in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 24.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The suspect is described as a male in his early 20s, about 5&apos;8&quot; tall, 180 lbs., muscular build, black hair in a crew cut, brown complexion with black eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, shorts and slippers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At this time, HPD has developed a suspect but has not yet made an arrest. Additionally, we have reason to believe that the suspect is a non-student.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have information about this incident, or if you see someone matching the above description, please contact HPD at 911 or Campus Security at 956-6911.

 Just after midnight, May 9, a female student reported being accosted by a stranger on the sidewalk fronting Dole Street near the Law School. A passerby intervened and enabled the victim to flee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Description of the suspect:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Male, race unknown&lt;br /&gt;Age: mid 20s&lt;br /&gt;Height: 5&apos;10&quot;&lt;br /&gt;Weight: 220 lbs&lt;br /&gt;Build: Muscular&lt;br /&gt;Hair: Short and Brown&lt;br /&gt;Facial Hair: Scruffy short beard&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wearing black short-sleeved t-shirt, with a &quot;high light&quot; logo on the front, jeans pants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone having any knowledge of this incident please call Campus Security at 956-6911 or HPD at 911. Campus Security is also attempting to locate the &quot;good Samaritan&quot; who assisted the victim.

 This is a general safety warning about a group of males reportedly assaulting or harassing people late at night or early in the morning, on or near campus. The incidents appear to be random and without cause.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Use a &quot;buddy system&quot; around campus at night. If you see a group of males (usually 4-7 individuals) ranging in age from late teens to mid-20s loitering in the area, avoid approaching them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you do see such a group, possibly a gang, on or very near campus acting suspiciously, please call Campus Security at 956-6911, or HPD at 911.

 March 29 at about 11:30 pm; a student reported being attacked and robbed of his backpack on the Dole Street sidewalk near the Hawaiian Studies building.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Three male suspects are described as:&lt;br /&gt;1.  6&apos; 185 lbs, shaved head, wearing gray undershirt and black shorts&lt;br /&gt;2.  5&apos;6&quot;, 155 lbs, wearing a white hoody and black shorts&lt;br /&gt;3.  5&apos;6&quot;, 150 lbs, long frizzy brown hair, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone having knowledge of this incident please contact HPD at 911 and/or Campus Security at 956-6911.

 On February 4th, at about 11:20 pm a UHM student was struck by a BB gun pellet while walking between Krauss Hall and Andrews Amphitheatre.&lt;br /&gt;A dark-colored vehicle with dark tinted windows was seen leaving the area.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone having knowledge about or who may have witnessed this incident please call Campus Security at 956-6911.

The method of entry into the rooms was through windows that were not securely closed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The crimes were committed predominantly during the late-night or early-morning hours, often when occupants were asleep in their rooms.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Students living in apartments, residence halls and dorms are urged to close their windows securely, even while they are sleeping and especially when they are not in their rooms.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For more information, call Campus Security at 956-6911.&lt;/span&gt;

 &lt;span style=&quot;font-size:13px; &quot;&gt;At about 7:30 p.m. last night, a student reported that she was robbed of her cell phone as she was walking in the Ewa direction on Dole Street near the School of Hawaiian Knowledge.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An unknown female suspect in her 20s approached the female student and asked to borrow the student&amp;sbquo;s cell phone. The female suspect sprayed the student with pepper spray and fled with her phone in an awaiting car.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The female suspect is described as possibly Polynesian in her 20s, 5&amp;sbquo;2&amp;permil;, 140 lbs., with brown complexion, brown eyes, medium straight black hair, and wearing a black long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The male driver suspect is described as possibly Asian in his 20s, slim build, black crew cut, tan complexion, and wearing a cap.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you see these suspects, call Campus Security at 956-6911 or the Honolulu Police Department at 911.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
