Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar

Slack key or ki ho`alu is a distinctively Hawaiian style of guitar playing based on a variety of open tunings. In addition to learning standard pieces in the tradition, students will learn representative tunings and specific playing techniques, including chimes, hammer-ons and slides.
The instructor is Peter Medeiros, who was nominated for an Emmy Award and is a recognized musician-teacher in the community.
