This is the most recent edition of CLEAR's popular little handbook on Labor
Dispute Picketing. This 2006 update contains short, easy-to-follow
descriptions of the basic rules governing picket line conduct and
organization. The Guide includes information on the difference between strike and informational picketing, picket signs and location of picket lines.
There is also a useful section of practical guidelines for picket captains
and a 17-page summary of the laws of Hawai'i relating to ingress and
egress, obstruction, etc., based in large part on the material used to
brief police officers assigned picket line duty.
Unlike the other CLEAR publications, this handbook is designed to fit in a
pocket or handbag (5 and a half by 4 inches) as a ready reference. [48
pages]. |
