Up to 14 UHM students of the arts eligible for cash awards Up to seven undergraduate awards of $1,000 each and up to seven graduate awards of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to undergraduate juniors or seniors and graduate students enrolled in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences and pursuing a degree in any field related to the arts (e.g. fine arts, music, dance, theater, literature, at history). These awards are made possible by the John Young Foundation to honor the late John Young's accomplishments in and commitment to the arts field as a renowned artist and art collector. It was Young's wish to support students of the arts at UH Manoa. Eligibility: 1. Classified Arts & Sciences graduate student pursuing a degree in any field related to the arts or undergraduate junior or senior student with a declared Arts & Sciences major in a field related to the arts. 2. Graduate of a Hawaii high school. 3. Some degree of financial need. 4. In good academic standing at UH Manoa.
