Ceremonies are scheduled as follows: Leeward Community College Friday, December 19, 7 p.m., Leeward CC Theater Candidates: 200 Speaker: Former legislator Jackie Young Note: Admission by ticket only due to limited seating University of Hawai'i at Hilo Saturday, December 20, 9 a.m., UH Hilo New Gym Candidates: 170 Speaker: Kumu hula and Hawai'i Community College instructor Pua Kanaka'ole Kanahele Student speaker: Marichu Adorable Dequina, an art major University of Hawai'i at Manoa Undergraduate Ceremony-10 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, Special Events Arena Candidates: 898 Speaker: UH President Kenneth P. Mortimer Graduating Regents Scholars: Kyle Nakamura, Hilo; Florence Marcelo, Mililani; Donny Shimamoto, Pearl City' Sherwin Umali, Wai'anae Graduating Presidential Scholars: Sharon Hondo and Sherill Hondo, Honolulu Advanced Degrees Ceremony-3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, Special Events Arena Candidates: 60 doctoral, 6 juris doctor, 317 master's degree, 1 professional diploma Speaker: UH President Kenneth P. Mortimer   Other ceremonies The Employment Training Center will hold an award ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19 in the courtyard of Building 71 at Honolulu Community College. Six cadets in the UH Army ROTC program will be commissioned as second lieutenants during a ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19 at Orvis Auditorium at UH Manoa.
