University Professor will receive science and technology award A University of Hawai'i professor has been selected to receive a major Japan award for science and technology. A representative of the Japanese government will explain the award and name the recipient at a news conference to be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 POST Building Room 327 University of Hawai'i at Manoa concurrent with the announcement of the award in Tokyo.
