The Regents Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship were established in 1987 to help recruit and retain the "best and brightest" of Hawai'i's students to study at the University of Hawai'i. The scholarships are among the most prestigious academic honors awarded in Hawai'i. The program is a cooperative effort of the Offices of Senior Vice President and Manoa Executive Vice Chancellor Carol Eastman and Vice President for Student Affairs Doris Ching. |
