American Hawai'i Cruises Scholarship winners announced

Thirty-nine high school seniors, about to embark on a new phase of their educational careers, got a special Bon Voyage party Saturday, May 10, onboard the S.S. Independence. The 39 students one from each public high school senior class in Hawai'i are the first recipients of American Hawai'i Cruises Community Service Scholarships. All are recognized not only for their academic achievement but for service to their communities. All will start college at a University of Hawai'i campus next fall.
