Authorized lei vendors will be located in the Music Department parking lot along Dole Street just before the entrance to Lower Campus Road and adjacent to Cooke Field near the Rainbow Baseball Stadium. No balloons are allowed inside the Stan Sheriff Center.
Because of construction work at the grass fields in the athletics complex, graduates, their families and well-wishers will exit the Stan Sheriff Center and meet on Cooke Filed for post-commencement celebrations this year. The university has requested that caution be exercised by those walking on the surface to minimize damage that might result from spike-heeled shoes or carelessly discarded cigarette waste.
A commemorative front page for the news section of the Sunday Honolulu Advertiser, which lists the names of all UH Manoa May graduates, will again be available for purchase from vendors at both ceremonies.
