The Center for South Asian Studies of the University of Hawai'i School of Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Studies presents a rare opportunity for Honolulu audiences to see, enjoy and learn more about three classical Indian dance styles Nov. 14­16 in workshops at UH Manoa and performances at Diamond Head Theatre and the Honolulu Academy of Arts.

Performance Nov. 15, 8 p.m., Diamond Head Theatre
Anjani's Kathak Dance of India
$15 general; $12 Academy of Arts members; $10 students

Performance Nov. 16, 4 p.m., Honolulu Academy of Arts Theatre
Sandra Chatterjee, Kuchipudi, an )tyam
$15 general; $12 Academy of Arts members; $10 students

Tickets for both performances will be available at the door or in advance at Honolulu Academy of Arts.

Carnatic Music Lecture/Demonstration with Asha Ramesh, vocal, and Natarajan Srinivasan, mridangam.

Workshop Nov. 14, 2­3:20 p.m., Temporary Dance Building, UH Manoa
Dance Workshop with Anjani Ambegaokar, artistic director, and members of Anjani's Kathak Dance of India; Vidhya Sridhar, Lasya Academy of Dance; and Sandra Chatterjee, UH Manoa Department of Theatre & Dance.

Both workshops are free and open to the public.
