Living will seminar Oct. 30

University of Hawai'i Elder Law Program will hold its annual living will seminar for the general public on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. in Classroom 5 of the William S. Richardson School of Law, 2515 Dole St., Honolulu.

This is a rare opportunity to make two important documents for your health care, the living will and the durable power of attorney for health care. These "advance directives" inform your doctor and your family of your wishes concerning your medical care should you become incapacitated or terminally ill. UHELP will provide an attorney, witnesses and a notary at the Oct. 30 seminar. Call 956-6544 for reservations and bring a picture ID with you. Donations to help defray costs are welcome.
