Eagle Hardware & Garden celebrates UH student-athletes' outstanding academic and sports achievements Ten outstanding UH freshman athletes are being honored this year by the Eagle Hardware & Garden Academic Salute Sponsorship. The talented ten, their sports and the high schools they came from are: Chad Giannetti, baseball, Punahou Shawn Withy-Allen, football, Kalaheo Aina Kohler, women's basketball, Lahainaluna Kathy Cho, women's golf, Punahou Melanie Matsumura, women's golf, Waiakea Nichole Drevno, softball, University HS Stacie Hirano, softball, Waiakea Stacy Makahilahila, softball, Kamehameha Trisha Ramos, softball, Kaua'i HS Kasey Tabar, softball, University HS This unique program benefits the best and brightest freshman athletes, who have a minimum 3.0 high school grade point average, who are Hawai'i high school graduates and who are active participants in community services.
