Rain·Bow·Tique opens Nov. 7 at Ward Centre Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with games and prizes-including tickets to that night's Homecoming game against San Jose State. Giveaways from Rain·Bow·Tique and KSSK continue throughout the day. Where: Ward Centre, Honolulu What: Grand opening of the first off-campus branch of Rain·Bow·Tique, a retail outlet for University of Hawai'i souvenirs and logowear. Opening day festivities include live performances by IMUA ("I'm a Rainbow Fan"), Joy, Honolulu Dance Studio and Andy Utech with A Modern Comedia-Dancers. Opening day store visitors can sign up to win a UH FAN·tasy volleyball appreciation package. Three lucky winners will win packages for two to attend the last Wahine Volleyball game of the 1998 season. Packages include round-trip transportation to and from Ward Centre via the comfortable Rainbow Fever van; a catered dinner at the Stan Sheriff Center courtesy of Sodexho Marriott, and courtside seats complete with refreshment service during the game. Older branches of the Rain·Bow·Tique are in the UH Bookstore and the Stan Sheriff Center on the UH Manoa campus. UH alumni, fans, friends and island visitors can now enjoy Ward Centre's free parking while they shop for officially licensed UH logowear. |
