| Specialists to speak at seminar on contemporary China,
Sept. 29 |
Four China specialists will speak at a seminar titled "Disengaging China 1999" at the Tokioka Room in Moore Hall 319. The free event is a wide-ranging panel discussion on contemporary China and will take place Wednesday, Sept. 29, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Doctors Reg Kwok, Cyndy Ning, Dru Gladney and Edgar Porter will each speak on an aspect of Chinese society, and discussion will then be open to the audience. The public is welcome to attend, and participation is strongly encouraged to promote lively discussion.
