Y2K workshops for faculty, staff and students explain impact on desktop computers

University of Hawai'i Information Technology Services invites UH faculty, staff, and students to attend one of three free Y2K informational workshops. Each workshop is 90 minutes long. The focus will be on Y2K and its possible effects on desktop computers as the date changes from 12/31/99 to 1/1/00.

Participants may choose a session from this schedule of workshops:

Thursday, Sept. 23, 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 4, 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 18, 2 to 3:30 p.m.

All workshops will be conducted in Kuykendall Hall at Manoa and telecast over Hawai'i Interactive Television System to other campuses.
