Tips for a good night's rest pt. 1 After a hectic day of various work and personal demands, naturally you'd expect to sleep like a baby until the craziness begins the next day. But when that doesn't happen you may feel frustrated. Now, a UH faculty member says there are things you can do to help you get a good night's rest. Dr. Bruce Soll, a professor in pulmonary medicine says occasionally problems with sleeplessness are sometimes caused by anxiety or physical or mental tension. Long-term insomnia may indicate a health problem such as heart disease, asthma or depression. If you suffer from insomnia, here are some tips to help yourself sleep better and feel more rested: Maintain regular sleeping habits, even on the weekends.
