UH as a Health Care Educational Destination
Eighteen health care professionals from the Republic of China's Provincial Government is on campus at the University of Hawaii for the four month segment of the Healthcare Executive Master's of Business Administration. The program was developed for Taiwan's Provincial Department of Health and is a partnership between the Queen's Medical Center, the State Department of Health and UH's College of Business Administration. The Hawaii portion of the program provides health care administration training focused on the complex issues facing the industry. This means about $1.3 million to Hawaii's economy, which includes program fees, lodging, transportation and other incidentals. This has been the University Report. Join me tomorrow morning for the UH Today segment on NBC Hawaii News8, I'm Tracy Orillo Donovan. |
