Ready, set, goto Manoa pt. 2
You're in high school and you've made the decision to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Yesterday I talked about what to do as a freshman and sophomore. As a junior, study for and take the college entrance exam. Discuss your scores, high school credits and college plans with a counselor. Explore scholarship possibilities and learn about Manoa's programs and campus. Take the SAT or ACT college entrance exam during your senior year. Complete the UH Common Application Form and turn it in during the fall semester. UH Manoa begins reviewing application forms in December and sends results in about two weeks. Remember to fill out the financial aid form and turn it in before the March 1 deadline. Deadline for student housing is mid-April. Once you're accepted, make sure you take advantage of the various orientation programs for students and parents. This is the University Report, join me tomorrow morning for the UH Today segment on NBC Hawaii News8, I'm Tracy Orillo-Donovan. |
