University of Hawaii team reaps additional honors at Jessup International Law Moot Court   The William S. Richardson School of Law team captured the Richard R. Baxter Award at the 1998 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition recently. The award is given for the best overall memorials-or briefs-submitted by any team in the Jessup competition. This year, the UH team finished first in both the "Best Memorial - Applicant" rankings and the "Best Memorial - Respondent" rankings. This is the second major recognition for the UH team at this year's Jessup International Law Moot Court. In April, the team placed second for the Hardy C. Dillard Award, given to the best combined memorials submitted in the Jessup regional or national competitions. The University of Hawaii's team achieved the best Dillard Award showing of any university in the country. This marks the seventh year in a row that UH law school teams have brought home honors from the prestigious Jessup international competition. This is the University Report, I'm Tracy Orillo-Donovan.
