Community College Employees Support Fund Drive Results of the recently completed UH Community Colleges Faculty and Staff Fund Drive Campaign indicate that Community Colleges employees are proud of their institutions and devoted to the betterment of their respective campuses. The fundraising effort brought in nearly $50,000. It was the first time the community colleges solicited donations from faculty and staff at all seven UHCC campuses, the Employment Training Center and the Office of the Chancellor for Community Colleges. Primary goal of the UHCC fund drive was to get maximum participation from the faculty and staff. About 45 percent of employees contributed more than $48,000. Windward Community College had the highest participant rate at 68 percent. On that campus, some fun incentives were also offered. There two drawings for those who donated-prizes including a month-long reserved parking space, a lunch date with a committee member and even a car wash by Provost Peter Dyer.
