Celebration
Kapi‘olani CC holds its 16th Annual International Festival March 15–18.
The festival, entitled Harmony, features guest lectures, ethnic music and dance,
art exhibits, folk art demonstrations, international films and more. Performances
include Javanese Dance, Capoeira Hawai‘i, Chinese, Andean, Okinawan, Japanese
and West African music, a Chinese lion dance, Zen archery, a parade of cultures,

Gordon Unialiloa Lahanau-o-Kalakaua presents a lecture on crafting Hawaiian weapons
on Tues., March 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Manoa Art auditorium. Lahanau-o-Kalakaua
has a lifetime of experience from a number of teachers and mentors. He will describe

UH West O‘ahu Celebrates
Celebrate UH
West O‘ahu Day on Sat., March 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This year’s theme is "A Celebration of Education: Past, Present and Future." This free event features food booths, performances by Clowns of Aloha, craft activities, prizes and a job fair. UHWO students will also be holding a Blood Bank of Hawai‘i blood drive. (808)454-4750
