Manoa Reorganization
Approved at Board Meeting
At its monthly meeting on Feb. 17, the Board of Regents approved
the reorganization of the Manoa chancellor’s office, including
four vice chancellor offices. According to the chancellor’s
memo the reorganization will be implemented in three phases to
address shifting of reporting lines, allocation of system and Manoa
resources and Manoa budget and staffing considerations. For more

In other action, the regents
• approved the preferred seating and premium
season ticket prices plan proposed by ‘Ahahui Koa Anuenue
• established an associate in science
degree in interpreting at Kapi‘olani

Manoa Student Housing Project Moves Forward

Five development teams have been invited to submit proposals for
Manoa’s on-campus student housing project. The university
sought proposals from qualified development teams for the implementation
(design, construction, financing and possible management) of the
site on which Frear and Johnson Halls and the International Gateway
House are currently located.

• Actus Lend Lease LLC, teamed with Allen
and O’Hara Development Co.
• American Campus Communities
• KUD International LLC, teamed with Capstone
Development Corp.
• Manoa Student Housing, LLC (consisting
of EAH University Communities and Student Housing Partners)
• Students First Campus Communities (composed
of Omaha, America Companies and Kiewit Pacific Company, Inc.)
